The time is right to start a new diet. I won't go into specifics but I really need to start eating right and lose weight. I was addicted to Diet Coke, I drank my last Diet Coke on Easter, 53 days ago. I leave for vacation in 53 days. One of the reasons I quit drinking the Diet Coke is because Diet Coke will not be available on this vacation. To help me get over my addiction, I enlisted the help of a friend, an Advocare Distributor, who introduced me to Spark. Spark is a sugar free powder that you mix with water. It contains vitamins, nutrients, and a little boost to give energy. Giving up the Diet Coke was virtually painless with Spark as my backup.
Since Spark worked so well, I wanted to give more Advocare products a try. I added meal replacement shakes to my daily routine several times a week...they are delicious. I added crave check, jury is still out whether that helped. I added a probiotic and then I was truly sold. Stomach issues I have experienced have disappeared!
So, this week, I made the leap to the 24 day challenge! My day begins with a 12 ounce glass of water with a scoop of Mango/Strawberry Spark, one probiotic supplement and a Catalyst supplement. Thirty minutes later drink an 8 ounce glass of water with a fiber packet stirred in. Rather icky stuff but today I kept a wee bit of Spark in the glass and it sailed right down. See Spark is magical.
I followed that glass of fiber stuff with my breakfast of oatmeal with some blueberries and 1/2 an apple and a hard boiled egg on the side for a little protein
Mid morning I ate some fruit and nuts
My lunch yesterday was an open-faced tuna sandwich with a dab of mayo and some veggies on the side. Today, I drank a chocolate mocha meal replacement shake. Today's lunch was much better than yesterday.

For supper, I took an OmegaPlex and ate some chicken, some cucumber, celery and carrots. I dipped the veggies in a little low-fat ranch dressing
Throughout the day, I am constantly drinking water. My goal is 12 8-oz glasses or 8 12-oz blender cups. Yesterday, I exceeded my goal. I'm a little behind in my water right now but I have another 2 hours before my night time snack, I think I can meet my goal by then.
Yesterday, I had a small headache and I felt constantly hungry. Today, I have not been hungry at all and, so far, no headache!
This phase, the cleanse phase, goes for 10 day. Two down, eight more to go...
